This guided tour includes period paintings, engravings, drawings, maps, photographs and sculptures from the rich collections of the City of Brussels Museum that will enable participants to immerse themselves in the Neo-Classical city. The tour will examine the major projects in the late eighteenth century, the grandiose developments under the United Netherlands regime and during the period following Belgian independence, to the extensions of this architectural and urban-planning style up to the eve of the First World War.
